Timothy Booth

Timothy was born in 1740 in Moreton cum Alcumlow, Astbury, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 26 December 1740 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.¹ Timothy's father was Timothy Booth and his mother was Charlotte Booth. His paternal grandparents were Timothy Booth and Elizabeth Shaw; his maternal grandparents were Moses Booth and Martha Beckett. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Martha, Mary, Charlotte, Ann, Jane and Sarah.
