Elizabeth Shaw

Elizabeth was born in 1683 in Newbold Astbury, Cheshire and her baptism took place on 7 August 1683 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.¹ Elizabeth's father was John Shaw and her mother was Anna. She died at the age of 72 in February 1755. Her burial was on 17 February 1755 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.

General Notes
- Elizabeth Shaw from Sommerford-Booth baptised on 7 Aug 1683 in Astbury (LDS IGI). Parents are recorded as John and Anna Shaw of Medgebrook, Cheshire. (Midgebrook Farm is now located at Trap Road, Somerford Booths).
  
  According to RootsWeb, John Shaw was from Hulme Wallfield. This is now spelled Hulme Walfield, and lies between Somerford Booths and Eaton, two miles northwest of Congleton.
