Charlotte Booth

Charlotte was born in 1738 in Moreton cum Alcumlow, Astbury, Cheshire and her baptism took place on 8 February 1738 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.¹ Charlotte's father was Timothy Booth and her mother was Charlotte Booth. Her paternal grandparents were Timothy Booth and Elizabeth Shaw; her maternal grandparents were Moses Booth and Martha Beckett. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Timothy, John, Thomas, Martha, Mary, Ann, Jane and Sarah.
