    Married William Senior in St Mary's Parish Church, Great Budworth aged 20, living in Winnington in 1849.
    (from marriage certificate and Cheshire BMD, 126/2/301). Also on the GRO index at Runcorn (XIX 236). Runcorn is the registration district that includes Budworth.
    
    Lived in Winnington with parents and husband and two children. Age 21. (1851 Census, HO107/2165/238/P15, Sch 60)
    
    Then lived at:
    Forest Field, Witton. Age 31 (but is given name of Margaret Senior, birthplace Over. Margaret is clearly a transcription error for Mary Ann: the ages and names of everyone else in the household match other census records).

    Living with her sister Hannah and daughter Alice at 5 Sydenham Place, Chorlton on Medlock, Manchester. Office Cleaner. Widow, Age 61. The census record shows her surname the same as her sister, that is her maiden name of Mary Ann Bennion, although her husband William probably did not die until 1893.     Various other reports claim that Mary Ann Bennion was the daughter of Thomas Bennion and Elizabeth Platt. However, there appear to be two Mary Ann Bennions of about the same age from the Winsford area. (Are they cousins?) The other one was baptised 30 October 1831 at St Chad's Over, daughter of Thomas & Elizabeth Bennion, Wharton, Labourer. She was single aged 20 and living with her parents in Gravel Lane, Wharton, in 1851. (1851 Census, HO107/2166/218/P12). She married William Bowyer in 1858  (Cheshire BMD 153/1/38) and was living with him in Wharton aged 39 in 1871(RG10/3699/126/P37). William Bowyer was living next door to the other Mary in 1851. Elizabeth [Platt] is probably the other Mary's mother, and was living with William and Mary in 1871 (RG10/3699/126/P37).
    Suprisingly, there is also a death recorded for another Mary Ann Senior in Q4-1899 in Lymm, Cheshire, Age 72.  Registered in Bucklow. (GRO 8a 151, Cheshire LYMM/18/266)
