Rebecca Bennion

Rebecca was born on 2 September 1797 and her baptism took place on 13 September 1797 at St Bertoline, Barthomley.¹ Rebecca's father was John Bennion and her mother was Mary Cookson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Bennion and Mary Martin; her maternal grandparents were John Cookson and Rebecca Croxton. She had five brothers named Thomas, John, Joseph, William and Henry. She was the oldest of the six children.
