Joseph Bennion

Joseph was born on 11 July 1803 in Barthomley, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 25 September 1803 at St Bertoline, Barthomley.¹ Joseph's father was John Bennion and his mother was Mary Cookson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Bennion and Mary Martin; his maternal grandparents were John Cookson and Rebecca Croxton. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John, William, Henry and Rebecca. He was the fourth oldest of the six children.
