Ann was born in 1743 in Moreton cum Alcumlow, Astbury, Cheshire and her baptism took place on 7 April 1743 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.1   Ann's father was Timothy Booth and her mother was Charlotte Booth.  Her paternal grandparents were Timothy Booth and Elizabeth Shaw; her maternal grandparents were Moses Booth and Martha Beckett. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Timothy, John, Thomas, Martha, Mary, Charlotte, Jane and Sarah.  John and Ann were twins.  She died at the age of 71 in July 1814.  Her burial was on 12 August 1814 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.2
