Timothy was born in 1677 in Newbold Astbury, Cheshire and his baptism took place at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.1   Timothy's father was Timothy Booth and his mother was Jane Booth.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Booth and Catherine Buckley. He had a brother and two sisters, named Isaac, Jane and Eleanor.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-sisters named Eleanor and Rebecca.  He died at the age of 58 on 1 February 1735 in Moreton cum Alcumlow, Astbury, Cheshire.  His burial was on 3 February 1735 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.1 1
