Joseph Furnival & Martha Oakes

Joseph and Martha were married in a religious ceremony on 9 October 1792 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire by Curate Page Godfrey.

  The witness John Morrey was Joseph's brother-in-law, the husband of his sister Ann.

They had two sons and five daughters, named John, Daniel, Mary, Martha, Sarah, Hannah and Ann.

- Joseph Furnival
  Joseph was born in January 1768 in Astbury, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 30 January 1768 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.¹ He died at the age of 78 in 1846 in Congleton, Cheshire.
  
  Martha Oakes
  Martha was born in 1763 in Newbold Astbury, Cheshire. Martha is no longer alive.

  Martha Furnival
  Martha was born in 1797 in Moreton cum Alcumlow, Astbury, Cheshire and her baptism took place on 24 December 1797 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.² She died at the age of 63 in 1860.

  John was born in 1800 in Moreton cum Alcumlow, Astbury, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 21 December 1800 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.² He died at the age of 52 in 1852.

  Daniel Furnival
  Daniel was born in 1806 and his baptism took place on 30 November 1806 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.² He died at the age of 2 in 1808. His burial was on 13 August 1808 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.³
  
  Hannah Furnival
  Hannah was born in 1809. She died at the age of 52 in 1861.
  
  Ann Furnivall
  Ann was born in 1813 in Moreton cum Alcumlow, Astbury, Cheshire and her baptism took place on 26 September 1813 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire. She died at the age of 76 in 1889.
