Mary Cookson & John Bennion

Mary and John were married in a religious ceremony on 2 May 1797 at St Bertoline, Barthomley.

  No 170. John Bennion of this parish Yeoman and Mary Cookson of Barthomley were married in this church by Licence this second day of May in the year One Thousand seven hundred and ninetyseven by me Edward Hinchcliffe, Rector.
  Solemnized between us John Bennion, Mary Cookson.
  In the presence of Rebecca Dale X her mark, Thomas Bennion.

They had five sons and a daughter, named Thomas, John, Joseph, William, Henry and Rebecca.

Personal Details
- Mary Cookson
  Mary was born in 1780 in Alsager, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 1 November 1780 at St Bertoline, Barthomley. He died at the age of 65 in 1845. His burial was on 9 November 1845 at St Bertoline, Barthomley.¹
  
  John Bennion
  John was born in 1769 in Balterley, Staffordshire and his baptism took place on 1 January 1770 at St Chad's, Wybunbury. He died at the age of 80 in 1849.

  Rebecca was born on 2 September 1797 and her baptism took place on 13 September 1797 at St Bertoline, Barthomley.²
  
  Thomas Bennion
  Thomas was born on 18 December 1798 in Barthomley, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 27 December 1798 at St Bertoline, Barthomley conducted by minister Alex Simpson. He died at the age of 57 in 1855.
  
  John Bennion
  John was born in 1801 in Barthomley, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 26 March 1801.
  
  Joseph Bennion
  Joseph was born on 11 July 1803 in Barthomley, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 25 September 1803 at St Bertoline, Barthomley.²
  
  William Bennion
  William was born on 18 June 1807 in Barthomley, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 1 November 1807 at St Bertoline, Barthomley.²
  
  Henry Bennion
  Henry was born in 1813.
