Joseph Pidcock

Joseph was born on 10 January 1856. Joseph's father was James Pidcock and his mother was Eliza Kennidy. His paternal grandparents were Michael Pidcock and Ellen Clark. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Michael, James, Henry, Charlotte, Mary, Eliza, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 45 in 1901.

- Born in Latchford 1856. Registered Q1-1856 at Warrington (Cheshire LAT/3/320, GRO 8c 146).
  
  Allegedly lived some time at 13 Oak Street, Grappenhall [family oral history]. However, Marriage certificate shows him living at 52 Oakley Street, Monks Coppenhall at time of marriage, 13 Apr 1878. [Another date for marriage was given as 22 Oct 1878 (family oral history)]. I would guess that the family tradition is confusing Oak St with Oakley St, and Coppenhall with Grappenhall, but as Grappenhall and Latchford are not very far apart, there may still be some connection.
