General Notes
- Mother of Mary and James Pidcock (LDS IGI).
  Surname deduced from marriage in 1812 in the IGI.
  
  Although Michael and Ellen lived in King Street, Salford, their first daughter Dinah was born in Latchford. Presumably Ellen had family there, and there are at least three Clarke families recorded in the 1851 Census in Latchford. (e.g. Thomas and Nancy Clarke, Wash Lane, HO107/2203/712/P36, which is not far from where Ellen's daughter Mary Pidcock Walker was living in 1851).
