Thomas Bennion & Martha Furnival

Thomas and Martha were married in a religious ceremony on 29 August 1822 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.

Thomas Bennion of this Parish Miller & Bachelor and Martha Furnivall of this Parish Spinster were married in this Church by License this Twenty Ninth Day of August in the Year One thousand eight hundred and Twenty Two By me Wm Oliver Curate. This Marriage was solemnized between us Thos Bennion, Martha Furnival In the Presence of John Bennion, Sarah Furnivall.

They had two sons and two daughters, named John, George, Mary Ann and Hannah.

- Thomas Bennion
  Thomas was born on 18 December 1798 in Barthomley, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 27 December 1798 at St Bertoline, Barthomley conducted by minister Alex Simpson. He died at the age of 57 in 1855.
  
  Martha Furnival
  Martha was born in 1797 in Moreton cum Alcumlow, Astbury, Cheshire and her baptism took place on 24 December 1797 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire.¹ She died at the age of 63 in 1860.

- John Bennion
  John was born in November 1822 in Astbury, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 7 December 1822 at St Peter's, Congleton, Cheshire. He died at the age of 66 in 1888.
  
  George Bennion
  George was born in 1826 in Astbury, Cheshire and his baptism took place on 26 February 1826 at St Mary's, Astbury, Cheshire conducted by J Clarkson.
  
  Mary Ann Bennion
  Mary Ann was born in 1830 and her baptism took place on 21 February 1830 at St Chad's, Over, Cheshire. She died at the age of 69 in 1899.
  
  Hannah Bennion
  Hannah was born in 1836 in Over, Cheshire and her baptism took place on 10 July 1836 at St Chad's, Over, Cheshire conducted by Curate J Graves. She died at the age of 82 in 1918.
