Michael Pidcock & Ellen Clark

Michael and Ellen were married in a religious ceremony on 9 November 1812 at Manchester Cathedral. They had three sons and five daughters, named James, Joseph, Michael, Dinah, Mary, Elizabeth, Jane and Susanna. Mary and Elizabeth were twins. Jane and Susanna were twins.

  Although they were Bible Christians (Methodists) it was possible they married at the Cathedral as non-conformist marriages were not legal otherwise. The cathedral is only a few hundred yards away from King Street, Salford.

  Mary was born on 16 February 1816 and her baptism took place on 19 February 1816 at Christ Church, King Street, Salford. She died at the age of 77 in 1893.

  Elizabeth was born on 16 February 1816 and her baptism took place on 19 February 1816 at Christ Church, King Street, Salford. She died at 1 months old on 21 March 1816.

  James was born on 6 March 1818 and his baptism took place on 5 April 1818 at Christ Church, King Street, Salford. He died at the age of 67 in 1885.
  
  Joseph Pidcock
  Joseph was born on 18 March 1820 and his baptism took place on 2 April 1820 at Christ Church, King Street, Salford. He died at the age of 1 on 24 September 1821.
