Sarah Tomlinson

Sarah was born on 19 April 1845. Sarah's mother was Anne Tomlinson. Her maternal grandparents were John Tomlinson and Mary. She had two brothers and a sister, named Edwin, George and Mary. She was the youngest of the four children. Sarah is no longer alive.

General Notes
- Born in Anderton 19 April 1845 (Birth Certificate). Her father is specified as John Hunt, watch virge maker, on her birth certificate, but as John Davies, flatman, on her marriage certificate.
  
  Living with her grandparents, John and Mary Tomlinson, in Leftwich in 1851. Sarah's mother was named Anne, from Toft (Knutsford), and may well be the Nancy/Ann living with Sarah's grandparents in 1851 (although there are some inconsistencies). It appears from Sarah's marriage record in Davenham parish church that her father was John Davies, but Sarah's surname is taken from her mother.
