Martin Murphy

Martin was born in 1899. Martin's father was Patrick Murphy and his mother was Margaret (Maggie) Donoghue. His paternal grandparents were Martin Murphy and Sarah (Sally) Hoban. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Sonny, Leo, Joseph, Sarah and Nellie.

- Born in Widnes about 1899.
  There are two Martin Murphy births registered in Prescot in Q3-1899 (GRO 8b 706 and 8b 786), but only one in Cheshire BMD (WID/86/22)
