Alice Houlgrave

Alice was born in 1813 in Hale, Lancashire and her baptism took place on 7 March 1813 at St Mary's, Hale, Lancashire. Alice's father was Thomas Houlgrave and her mother was Mary Dumbobbin. She had three brothers and a sister, named Charles, Thomas, Henry and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 75 in 1888.

- Born in Hale about 1813.
  Married John Maddock before 1838, and married Ralph Dunbavin in 1853. (It is possible that Ralph was a cousin, related to Alice's mother Mary Dumbobbin. The IGI regards Dumbobbin and Dunbavin as variants, but I can't see any obvious common relatives.)
