John Heveghan

John was born in 1833. John's father was Malachi Hevigan and his mother was <Unknown>. He died at the age of 33 in 1866.

General Notes
- John is in the records under a variety of names, but I think they are all the same person, born in 1833 in Ireland. Since his name is so similar to James Havican (1840), and because they lived so close, I assume they are related, but there is no documentary evidence. They are not brothers, as they have different fathers, but they may be cousins.

  [Note that there is a Michael Feeney at Cloghnashade in Grifith's Valuation for Tisrara, County Roscommon, where Malachy Hevahan, possibly John's father, is also found]
  
  John Hevigan married Ann Horkin (or Harkan) 11 Jan 1859, living at Stoney Street, Oldbury. Occupation: Laborer at Alkali works.

  Note that he had died about the same time as the first records in Oldbury appear for James Havican, who probably arrived in England about 1865.
