Ann Harkan

Ann was born in 1840. Ann's father was Michael Horkins and her mother was Ellen. She had two brothers named Thomas and Edward. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 59 in 1899.

  Gave birth to son James in the Union Workhouse, West Bromwich in 1868, but no father is named on the birth certificate. At this time she was the widow of John Hevaghan/Hevican/Heavican (1833-1866). James was born well after John Hevaghan's death, and so was illegitimate, but Catherine was born before he died.
