John Underwood

General Notes
- New Brunswick First Families suggests that Peleg's father was John Underwood from Newport, Rhode Island, died 1848. From "New Brunswick Loyalists: a bicentennial tribute" by Sharon Debeau, 1983. The date of 1848 seems very late, and is more likey Peleg's son John.
  
  John Underwood sailed from Huntington Bay, NY, to St John, NB, on board the loyalist ship The Union in 1783.
