The marriage of Randle Furnival and Ellen Lingard on 20 Nov 1580 is mentioned in "Twemlows, their wives and their homes".
In the transcription of the will of William Lingard, proved on 20 Sep 1620, appears (P 251): I'tm I give to Randle Furnivall and Wm. Shaw eyther of them XXs. and eyther of theire wyves a silver spoone.
A footnote then says: Randle Furnival married Ellen Lingard 20th Nov. 1580. He was an appraiser of Kath Lingard's goods, 1608.
William Lingard was the parson of Warmingham parish. Ellen Lingard was William Lingard's niece. I presume that William Shaw was married to another of his nieces.
Later the will says: And I desire Mr. Conway and Rondle Furnival of Bradwall to be overseers of the same [will].
