  • In the marriage allegation dated 27 May 1787 he was aged 21, so he was born about 1766. He was probably the John Morrey baptized 25 Oct 1765 in Sandbach, son of Hannah Morrey. Therefore, probably unconnected with John Morrey (1737) of Acton, Cheshire.
    
    Living in Sommerford Booth at the time of his marriage in 1787.
    
    John Morrey was a witness at the marriage of Joseph Furnival (his brother-in-law) and Martha Oakes (1792).
