William Berry

William was born in 1855. William is no longer alive.

General Notes
- Born in Croyde, Cornwall, about 1855, according to the 1881 census. However, even though county boundaries were reorganized in 1888, there is no evidence that Croyde was ever in Cornwall. It is in Devon, near Barnstable. In the 1911 Census, his birthplace is given as Croyde, Devonshire.

  There is a William H Berry in St Issey, Cornwall (near Padstow), aged 5 in 1861 (RG9/1541/30/P14) and 15 in 1871 (RG10/2254/13/P2) but these seem unlikely as he is still in St Issey in 1881, when our subject is in Runcorn.
